As our main priciple is to stop Disinformation, as long as we're using someone else's platform we're opening ourselves to external moderation by that platform, by hosting our own platform for ourselves we take out the middle-man.

Depending on a singular service to always be there for you is setting yourself up for failure, our Hydra model is a multi-pronged strategy for this reason. By hosting our own service, we're guranteeing that as long as we're around, our service will be.

Using the Open-source Matrix Protocol over any other closed source communications platform ensures we have control over the changes made to our service, meaning our service will never stray from it's original purpose.

Element is a great all-rounder for Matrix, most users use Element. Element's sleek design and smooth functionality make it a popular choice among Matrix users

Discord Users For Desktop

Cinny is great and looks exactly like Discord unlike Element, however it doesn't work as well on Mobile yet, so Desktop is the only recommended OS to use this client.
